During the Covid19 Level 4 Lockdown, Signature Promotions were able to support the New Zealand Government Sector, The Ministry of Education, by providing essential stationary items for students learning from home due to school closures.
Distant learning for all students started on 15 April, and “Schools and the Ministry of Education have worked to make sure every learner has at least one connection to learning during Term 2.” (Education.govt.nz, 2020).
Signature worked with our local supply chains to drop ship the stationary items to distribution centres for packing and distribution out to thousands of students across the country. We found solutions that supported our local supply chains, at the same time offering a solution and support for the Ministry.
The Learning from Home Stationary Packs were filled with essential stationary items. Signature supplied a range of colours pencils, pencil sharpeners, rulers, refill pad, bouncy balls and other stationary kits to the students of NZ.
The Ministry were acknowledged by students, parents and whānau with an influx of positive feedback through social media. Many parents praised schools and teachers for their hard work staying connected with their students online, and students reflected their gratitude and passion for learning with letters and drawings.
